Company name: AllVoices

Company blurb: Software platform that enables employees to safely and anonymously report harassment and culture issues to their company’s leadership.

Company website: https://www.allvoices.co/

Company headquarters: Los Angeles, CA

Founder’s hometown: Portland, OR

Founder fun fact: I used to work on child sex trafficking prevention, and once participated in an FBI raid!

Why did you decide to start your company? I felt that the process of speaking up about issues at work was broken and leading to lots of negative downstream effects for both companies and employees. I knew that the solution I was imagining could help everyone feel safe and supported in the workplace and that it was necessary to do so in order to create a more just and equal world.

What is one thing that you want people to know about your company? We have genuinely great relationships with our customers! They are awesome and we feel so lucky to be working with such great people.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a lawyer. The (wannabe) lawyer in me still comes out sometimes when selling our product to the Legal department of companies!

What is one piece of advice you’d like to pass on to new founders? Entrepreneurship is so worth it! You gain years of experience in a single year compared to working in a specific, defined role at a company. There’s nothing like the feeling of seeing a product feature that was previously just an idea come to life, or seeing your team close a big deal, or hearing from a new team member how much they love their job. I don’t think I can ever go back!
